Judy Stroh Roberts, Master Photog. Craftsman, started her career in photography at the age of 16 working in a photo lab. However, she says "Photography actually describes my life. As a kid, I couldn't read, but my grandfather let me use his camera. By the age of 10 I was developing my own prints and expressing myself through photography. In all of these years, little has changed except for technology. I still express myself through my images." Judy achieved certification in medical photography at the University of Miami and studied portrait photography at the Professional Photographers of America Winona School of Photography. In 2003 she earned her Master of Photography degree from Professional Photographers of America and three years later her Craftsman degree. She has owned a studio for 25 years and continues as a commercial, portrait and wedding photographer. Judy has taught programs and workshops at both national and international levels. Judy's credits include publication in PP of A loan collection books and the award list for best in Michigan. In 2006 she was recognized as the "top photographer in Detroit."
